It’s your idea – amplified

As a business, we produce meaningful and socially empowering content. Podcasts produced for clients at East Coast Studio aim to delight the ears of your listeners. Creativity and originality, as well as great quality audio are what we live for.

As the creator of your show, you will drive the direction of your podcast. Your ideas are the key that lead us to make an end product that’s even better than you imagined.

Producer Support

We make sure all details of the production are right. You might be guided to record up close, presenter-style with a great microphone. Equally, we’re excited by mixing audio from a location interview in a cow shed or sounds of the natural environment.

The production process often involves some consultancy and technical audio training. We can provide skilled support for editing the flow and pace of your recorded content. We can also assist with kick-starting your audience development with pitches for app features and awards.

The end result of our work is always something that is worthwhile, and that we can all be proud of creating.

About Me

My name is Martin Franklin. I started my broadcast life in the first podcasting wave of 2006. While running my own 10,000 subscriber show, I podcasted everything from conferences, business meet ups, interviews with artists, technologists and ghost hunters.

I love creating partnerships and community. With my own podcast, I built partnerships with community radio stations and bridged the show to become a live broadcast. I produced weekly shows for Soundart FM and series that aired on Resonance FM, London.

As a sound artist and designer, I have recorded and released numerous albums since the early ’90’s. I have scored soundtracks for theatre, dance and created multimedia works for exhibition in gallery spaces including ICA, London, Modern Art Oxford and others.

I founded and managed one of the UK’s first creative digital labs; Digital Media Centre for over a decade in the UK. We developed innovative artist-led programs from the sprawling Georgian mansion house at South Hill Park, Berkshire, England.

I spent many years as a Digital Producer working with major London venues and organisations. This included London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Place, London Contemporary Dance School. As a freelance creative, I worked with many clients and businesses in the worlds of education, technology, and business.

Working within Communications teams gave me the marketing experience and context for viewing all of the projects we now deliver at East Coast Studio. By becoming part of strategic campaigns your podcasts can work to deliver your individual and organisational goals.
